Welcome to TourMedX. By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below. Please read these terms carefully before initiating any booking or travel arrangements.
1. Scope of Services & Facilitator Role
It is crucial to understand that TourMedX acts as a medical tourism facilitator.
-
Our Responsibilities:
We coordinate your logistics, accommodation, transfers, and medical appointments. We act as your advocate to facilitate communication between you and third-party providers.
-
Medical Services:
TourMedX does not provide medical services directly. All medical procedures are performed by independent third-party hospitals, clinics, and surgeons.
2. Medical Disclaimer & Outcomes
-
Provisional Diagnosis:
Online consultations are for assessment purposes only; a diagnosis provided remotely is provisional. The final decision proceeds after on-site physical examination.
-
No Guaranteed Outcomes:
By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that no medical procedure has a guaranteed outcome. Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with aesthetic results or medical outcomes.
-
Grievances:
Any grievances regarding medical results must be addressed directly with the medical provider under Egyptian medical law.
-
Cost of Complications:
Unless the treating hospital has an explicit, written "free revision" policy for specific cases, all costs associated with medical complications, revision surgeries, or extended hospital stays are the sole financial responsibility of the Client. TourMedX is not liable for these additional costs. If the surgeon decides the patient is not fit to fly, TMX is not liable for the flight change cost.
-
Medical Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive Medical Travel Insurance that covers complications and medical repatriation. TourMedX acts as a partner to top-tier insurance providers and can assist you in obtaining a policy; however, the insurance contract is strictly between you and the insurance provider.
-
Post-Operative Compliance:
TourMedX and its medical partners are not liable for any medical complications, unsatisfactory results, or delayed recovery resulting from the Client’s failure to strictly adhere to the doctor's post-operative instructions. This includes, but is not limited to, smoking against advice, engaging in prohibited physical activities, poor hygiene, or missing follow-up appointments.
3. Booking, Deposits, and Payments
-
Administrative Deposit:
To secure priority appointments and initiate logistical planning, a non-refundable Administrative Deposit is required at the time of booking. This covers initial costs such as pre-travel consultations and itinerary planning.
-
Telehealth Payments:
Full payment for online consultations is required in advance. Unpaid appointments may be cancelled if payment is not received 24 hours prior to the slot.
-
Currency & Fees:
TourMedX is not responsible for fluctuations in exchange rates or fees charged by your bank for international transfers.
-
Companion Conduct & Liability:
The Client accepts full legal and financial responsibility for the conduct of any accompanying family members or friends.
-
Damages:
Any damage caused to hotel property, hospital facilities, or transportation vehicles by the companion will be charged directly to the Client.
-
Legal Violations:
TourMedX is not liable for any legal consequences arising from the companion’s violation of Egyptian laws (e.g., substance abuse, misconduct). We reserve the right to terminate services immediately without refund if such violations occur.

6. Travel Documents and Visas
-
Client Responsibility:
It is the client's sole responsibility to obtain necessary travel visas for entry into Egypt.
-
Visa Denial:
If a visa is denied, you must provide official proof immediately. If provided more than 21 days before arrival, a partial credit of the Administrative Deposit may be offered for future booking at management discretion.
7. Unforeseeable Events
TourMedX is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseeable causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, labor disputes, or global health emergencies resulting in border closures. In such events, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule but cannot guarantee refunds for non-recoverable costs.
